Parent's: What is your take on "Alternative schools"?

Alternative as in private schools? much better then public there is more focus on learning and less on being social. Alternative as in the punishment Alternative school? There is to big of a chance that your child is going to become friends with some one that will enfluence into doing more bad things.

I'm not a parent, but my dad has no problems with me going to one. I attend one now. He noticed a difference in the staff as have I. They are more his type of people. They focus on the INDIVIDUAL, rather than the group as a whole....unlike public schools. They're a lot better.
