It tends to add an extraneous space somewhere in the address. Thus, when someone copies and pastes the address they are told that it can't be found. So, I would recommend that, in the future you use the function they provide for referencing websites in questions. This seems to work much more reliably. As for your question, my first reaction is, "They needed a study to tell them this?" The idea of serving others and denying oneself has been a major component of most major religions for thousands of years. So, of course selflessness is at the core of religion.

No, I don't think it is. What your article suggests is the "spiritual experiences" are functions of the brain. Prayer is meditation; the feeling one gets are not from god, but from their own brain.
