The cursor on my laptop has gone wild. It constantly moves all over the screen, making it impossible to click anything. I am not using a mouse, but using the touch pad. I have run all my security software.

    This has happened to me before. It is a fault with the touch pad, you need to send it in for repair.

    One solution that worked for me was the brute-force approach! Not recommended, however if you hit the touch pad the shock can knock it into shape for a while!

    Alternatively for a temp solution you could disable the touch pad and use a mouse.
