I've cut out all added salt in an effort to keep my blood pressure down...however I have developed a love of "Tony Chachere's Cajun Seasoning." (Salt Free)..Try it and you'll never go back to plain salt again.

If flavor will be improved I always cook with salt, rarely adding it afterward, but one that that really needs salt for the flavor it finally taste correct is split pea soup. Until you get just the right amount, it tastes flat and boring. Then when you hit that sweet spot it really sings.

Eggs would be one of mine too, but I can't imagine popcorn without salt or pasta without salt in the water, that would be yucky.

I used to be a salt fanatic. I would pour it on everything. After being diagnosed with high blood pressure I decided to remove the salt shaker from the table. It was hard probably just as hard as quitting smoking but I did it. However,when it comes to a tomato I just need a few grains to give it that taste.

I already put salt on your scrambled eggs. Now you just put MORE salt on the scrambled eggs. Puts a string through a salt shaker and hangs it around Salty lights neck..............

Avocado pears. Don't normally add salt to other food but can't eat an avocado pear without salt.
