I hold to the values laid down in the bible. Although that doesn't mean I like them.
-
The very best ones. We know that they can be found in God's Word the Bible. We need to get God's thoughts and make those our values and morals. If we do this we are best equipped to live life in a way that is pleasing to our Heavenly Father while being happy and successful in life.

Truth is I like moral and values - even the types thrown out from the bible - and I will live by them more then most. But I don't care much for using the bible as my only source - I have a brain I can figure most of this out myself - I also am very well read. I have been told by others that they don't understand how I life by most of rules considered to be moral while not believeing in the bible. The bible is a terrible read I reply after all. But more imporant - you have to be strong to be happy - you have to be able to evaluate things for what they are - there are good reasons for morals - even if others hide those reasons in religion. SO anyway - I do not fear God (for me that is a positive moral) - I am honest - no not steal -do not seduce married women - do not give into authority just because they claim authority, I havn't killed so I suppose I do not kill, I put my all into most things that I do. I love being inspired - (could that be a moral?)
-
Honesty, compassion, grace, humbleness, and integrity.

My own values are what I try to center around what I do and who I am daily. Some are being kind and loving, grateful, compassionate, tolerant, and courteous. I am working on these and others daily to stay centered with them so I do not get pulled away from who I am and what I feel I am and know I am. And it isn't easy, but I believe the journey will be worth the rather rough ride.

Christian morals and values.
-
Open mindedness, rational thought, and the tendency to question. (This, of course, will not apply to the religious faithful or people that get their news from the Fox network.)
-
Common sense for one thing, not all people have this gift, in fact a lot of people don't. To trust in Jesus Christ, even though I give nothing back to him and screw everything up, he still doesn't give up on me and still lets me know he is there.

"An it harm none, do what ye will." Since "none" includes yourself, those around you, bacterium, plants, Deity, etc...the injunction boils down to taking the action that causes the least harm. For instance, if I take antibiotics, I'm certainly harming the bacteria. To not take them is to harm myself. Harming none (as some Wiccans like to tell everyone to do) is impossible. I strive to take the most ethical action possible.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say, morals and values that aren't grounded in religious dogma! Morals and values that are grounded in common sense and pragmatism! None of this, "Because the bible says so!" that gets rammed down the throat of society on a daily basis, but morals and values that come from a sense of love and respect for people, that don't judge or condemn!

I think Nichiren said it best: "A truly wise person will not be carried away by any of the eight winds: prosperity, decline, disgrace, honor, praise, censure, suffering, and pleasure."
-
Well, while I do view them as being realtive - I will tell you my 'values' and 'morals'. Love, and love with all your heart - never cheat, for that is just sick.... Be honest and loyal to your friends, for not doing so is wrong. Always keep your head staright, don't lose track of your goals. Don't steal and don't kill - this is only acceptiabl in life and death sitautions. Be wise and witty - for these will never fail you. Never stop learning. NEVER BE ANYONE YOU ARE NOT. That's the gist of it anyway.
