Absolutely. Life is too short to feel so insecure lol. You really limit yourself when you truly feel that way inside, so self critical. In my opinion, insecurity is a wasted emotion and life is for the living! I personally dont care about any of my friend's looks and if they were obsessed and self critical then I dont think it would work. I'm friends with you because of who you are, not what you look like.

I won't get irritated but it can be too monotonous. I'll advise him/her to love thier own appearance and also help them accentuate thier looks.

Often, because it's usually a pretty, thin woman complaining about her weight or the whiteness of her teeth. I want to say, "Hey, look around. You're doing just fine. Get out of your vain head and join the world once in a while."
-
No.. not really .. I complain about my look alot =)

I find anyone who is self-absorbed irritating. Only caveat is people who are in real trouble. Then I'm more than glad to listen.
-
As long as they complain about their own looks, I would be okay with it :)
-
Sometimes but as long as if they aren’t complaining about anyone else’s looks then I don't mind it.

I believe that people who are always talking about themselves are self-absorbed..I don't care if it is about how fabulous they are or how they're too fat or have zits or whatever...if it is always "me me me me me" I don't hang around very long. :) ((hugs))
-
No. Sometimes, they just need to hear that they look fine from you...I think we all need to remember to compliment our friends and s/o's more.
-
i would see it as a challenge to help them see how beautiful they truley are inside and out!!
-
That and it's opposite = boastful! ;-)

Nearly all the time. People who complain about their looks always seemingly care about themselves. One day, their beautifulness face will wrinkle, and they'll have to rely on their inside personality to become someone who can't complain. Therefore people who complain all the time irritates me, especially people's ego about their looks!
