I'm going to answer my own question. Actually, there are several that I don't like. But one of the most annoying, to me, was the burger king ball pit urban legend. The one about the child who "ODed" from the tip of a heroin needle poking into him while he was playing in the ball pit. Or the one about the snakes. Neither ever happened, and it annoyes me to no end when people report these as fact.

That black cats are evil. It is ridiculous! That's why so many black animals are killed in animal shelters, because nobody wants them. At the animal shelter I volunteer for, there are 12 black cats in a total of 60 that are at the shelter right now. I have two black cats, one is on my lap as I (try to) type and he is purring like crazy!

I hate the urban legend that President-elect Barak (Hussein) Obama is a Muslim. 1) I am Catholic, and I want to know what is wrong in the first place if a peron IS a Muslim. I salute my Muslim brothers and sisters and feel a kinship to their faith, one of three huge Abrahamic world religions. 2) My gut reaction to the claim that Barak Obama is Muslim is that we almost certainly know he is a Christian. Obama professes Christianity, and normal respect for others demands that we respect a person's professed faith commitments.
