Is the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp too broad of a topic to choose for a 7-10 page report?

    So much happened in the 22 camps at Auschwitz and it would be a very complex subject to write about.Why not do a report on Dachau KZ near Munich where the Germans produced many consumer products by using slave labour.

    I think it's too broad of a subject. Write a thesis statement that narrows down the topic to some narrower aspect of the concentration camp that you want to cover in depth.

    It's a complex and difficult topic for an essay. If you write about an concentration camp you must be very precise, you need space for this.
    You cannot cover the whole topic with 10 pages. My advice: To focus on a special cc topic or to describe the way of a person, victim or murderer.

    At Dachau the SS had many factories which manufactured porcelain at Allach, Appolonaris mineral water,Bakery, Meat processing,Textile manufacturing etc.
    They owned two othe soft drinks works which were the Sudetenquell and Mattoni brands.They also had a large publishing organisation that printed books, magazine and posters etc.

    They controlled a slave workforce of over 2 million all over Germany and the occupied lands.They controlled 75% of the soft drinks industry.The had plaster board plants, the Rheinglassfabrik bottling plant, Fish Processing plant, Furniture and cabinet making factories which made practically all Germanys furniture.The also made ammunition and weapons.In all they had over 500 factories under their control.They supplied slave labour to Fords (Cologne), BMW, Mercedes Benz (Munich), Opel (Owned by General Motors),Volks Wagen (Wolfsburg), Magirus Deutz (Cologne), and General Motors.
