My freshman year in college, came real close. Was at a dance with 4 of my friends and one of my friends got into a fight and i tried to break it up and was hit from the back. It was a brawl...all my friends got in fight with a group of football players. The cops broke it up. And, they told us to head home and if we looked back, we were going to jail...

I spent 8 hours in a jail cell at the police station once. My husband and I were driving to the store and I told him that I didn't like when he parked in a specific area so I told him to go to the front of the store and park. Well the cop that stopped us, in the parking lot, said that we looked like we were fighting and thought he could give us some counseling. He ended up arresting us for "public intoxication" which was completely ridiculous since it was 9 AM on a Sunday. Well we fought it, of course, and it turned out that the cop had like tons of other complaints on his record and he was fired.

just 10 minutes. parents tried to "teach me a lesson" to stop me from being a firebug by putting me in a cell. i thought it was hillarious. they took me out after i started making friends. im not a firebug anymore though, but i'll light up a candle in a minute ;).
