  • A doctor can use his hands and reposition the baby right before birth by twisting the stomach. This WILL HURT the mother as the baby turns but will not hurt the baby. I do not know if all doctors do this but it will not hurt to ask. I have seen a doctor do this in a documentary and it is supposed to work 3 out of 4 times.
  • I have heard there are excercises that will help accomplish this. Maybe you could google it and then check with your doctor.
  • My doctor recommended using a good sturdy ironing board to make a ramp from the couch to the floor and lying on it head down for short periods of time. It gets the baby's butt disengaged from the pelvis so that it is easier for it to rotate. His nurse told me it worked for her when one of her kids refused to turn.
  • hi. I had a breech baby 11 years ago normally it was a nightmare. I had my son 5 weeks ago by elective section and it was the easiest and most pleasant experience ever. I know you dont want a section but dont listen to all the rubbish about sections you hear. I was up and about the next day, bathing baby and making brews. Driving after 2 weeks and i have mucked out 3 nags and ridden one today off the back of a night shift last night. Its a scary time for you but dont frighten yourself senseless about it. I think your babs may turn anyway and I hope you get what you want.
