A shot in the dark? = religious preference? ;-)

so i've been told - it has something to deal with distractions, and people trying to personify that which cannot be personified there is no physical image of god in islam, so why make an image of anything not worthy of worship? the musical instruments i'm assuming because when the prayer is recited aloud it already has a melodious sound to it - kinda like the gregorian chants back in the day, it's all a capella so to speak . now i've been told that music is or is not allowed in islam, each side has its own points, and they say the same on art in general. -i'm of the opinion that neither are forbidden if they don't take away from one's worship. others may agree or disagree but you know all religions have that whole right wing left wing spectrum so whatever....

Islam strictly follows Allah word which is Qur'an and prophet Muhammad(sws)s path!

you cannot show god as a person . banning of music is real and very sad . i live without gods or religion but i would not like to live without music.

Here are some traditional Muslim pictures of the Prophet Mohammed. I some parts of the Islamic World such as Iran you can buy pictures of the prophet Mohammd outside mosques when you leave friday prayers. Most, but not all all Muslims agree that it is wrong to show people in pictures.
