  • Did you try flipping the breaker all the way on and all the way off?
  • Reset the breaker like Blessed said, also check to see if that plug is part of a GFCI circuit... and reset that too...
  • You could have a bad circuit breaker but you should wait 10 minutes or so after the breaker tripped.The problem could be caused by heat buildup in the breaker. After you have waited then the next step is to turn the break all the way off before you try to turn it back on. When a breaker trips it doesn't alway make it all the way back to the off position on it's own. If this does not correct the circuit you have to open the panel to see if electricity is leaving the breaker or not with an electrical tester.
