Hmmm...really depends on the shade of both colors. But most likely purple!

Green. It's a peaceful color.

It's hard to pick one color over another especially since purple and green could mean many different shades, tints, saturations and intensities of those colors. One of my favorite color schemes for an interior was yellow-green and red-violet. On another note, I rarely use a simple purple or green, it's usually a combination of the color: yellow-green, blue-green, blue-violet, red violet.

def depends on the sade of both, but green can promote well-being and relaxing feelings and I am a bit biased towards it since it is my fav color (emerald green rocks!)
