Some time next week I'm plotting to get the hell out of school and start homeschooling. I'm very excited. Anyone care to celebrate?

I plan to go for a long walk at about 8:30 tonight until maybe 10:00, I'll walk through the halfway abandoned strip mall in the old part of town, ripping down posters for no reason, peering blankly into windows, maybe I'll even take a little stroll down along the edge of the resavoir while I'm out, see if I can locate my new dog friend Jack, the usual.

Interesting? Well, I will have to have a skin cancer removed soon. If you think that is interesting, then yes. I have mixed feelings about it, and am not sure I would call it interesting as much as anxiety producing. But it will be an interesting activity I suppose.

Yes, let's see....Friday at 9.15 am I am having a colonscopy. Gee, what fun you say, wish I could have one too! Then later in day after I have woken up and retreived my dignity at the door on my way home I shall be going to a farewell afternoon tea for a person involved with the same volunteer group as I am, whom I dislike intensly. I am hoping that she will, as usual, make some smart remark that I can respond to in my own inimitable fashion and really let her have it! Of course, I will be still under the influence of the anaesthetic so I couldn't possibly be held accountable for all the nasty, but true, things I will say. Then later that evening I am going out to dinner with another group of like minded people - Lang Lang Independent Riders Network - we call this the horses dinner, no, not chaff, but we all love our horses and talk about our horses. Actually if the truth be known it is a good excuse for a 'piss up at the pub'. We usually stay until politely asked to "Please will you leave? Go, begone!" LOL....and that's only Friday.......

Tonight I make another attempt to call CA, as my attempt on Monday failed due to the fact it was MLK day. I get so excited talking to Americans! You guys have the coolest accents :) Next week I plan to go and give a pint of my blood to the NHS in return for a keyring with my blood type on it (I'm easily pleased!) I also have to submit my application form to Au Pair in America. Such is my desperation to get out of the UK, I'm prepared to spend a year looking after someone's kids in the hope I'll find something more permanent over in the US. In March I go to Strasbourg, in July I go somewhere else, and in August (which isn't actually that far away) I either go to Prague+Grenada or LA. I can't quite decide which, both would be very 'career enhancing'. (Well, maybe LA less so...)

I am taking vacation time in February, I'll be leaving Alabama on Wednesday Feb 21st in the morning and Flying to Tampa Florida, to my home town area, visit friends, family and do some partying around Tampa Bay with some other police friends. Well I get out of Highschool here in 4 months, and I am so excited like NO OTHER. I have School of Music auditions on February 27th, (hoping to get accepted to the Music Education Department at the this specific university). Other than that I guess not too much. Just having a blast with my senior year of highschool!

YES! Snowboarding time for us all. 8 days and i'm off for the first time of two trips this winter.

Today I'm taking my two granddaughters to lunch at McDonalds and then to the cinema to see 'Happy Feet'. I don't get out much.
