  • Depends on the dealer and your credit rating.
  • Uh ... YEAH! You need to have SOME skin in the game unless you have an astronomical credit score, in which case you would never use dealer financing. Then again, there is the small matter of licensing and tax, which many lenders will not finance -- especially in this market! If you are THAT broke, you really don't deserve a car. You are probably only one paycheck away from default and repossession.
  • In most cases, yes..but..shop around alittle, some dealers are really trying to move cars off the lots now and you could find one with a no money down contract. You will still have to have the cash for lender fees and such though. :)
  • I have bought ,twice, used cars through the internet,from Japan(right handed steering wheel)and got it shipped by freighter.Both had less than 100 thousand kilometers(60 thousand miles) on them,and they ran GREAT.
