After a suicide attempt, and im almost certain no police report was filed, is it still possible to aquire a hand gun, or will it show in a background check?

Boy, you sure do have a lot of questions on suicide. My opinion of why suicide is wrong: Ever heard of the philosophical idea that "you are just a figment of my imagination?" That we are all just creating the reality that we see? So, in that sense, if you commit suicide you are really murdering everyone else on the planet. Do you really hate everyone else that much?

Depends if,after the attempt, the person was hospitalized for treatment, medical or psychiatric. That could come up in a background check. How do you know there was no police report?

Yes it is illegal to try or kill yourself. It's taking a life even if it is your own. Killing yourself is NOT the answer. It's a cowards way out! Don't you think many of us have had reasons to just say F*ck it....let someone else deal with this! Like your family!!!! Do you think your the only one going thru a bad time? The only one who hurts so bad it's hard to breath? NO! You are not! Instead of looking for the easy way out maybe get a back bone and say HEY!!!!!!!!! What's up with this? I'm NOT going to just lay down and die, ohhhhh no, piss on that! I'm going to fight for what's mine! The same right we all have the right to be happy, to find a reason to want to live! It's not easy! Life sucks sometimes! LOTS of times! But it can be good too! If you give up, you'll miss out on so much. Something good is about to happen don't give up now. Now get that crap out of your mind!
