Islam discriminated IN FAVOUR of women over fourteen hundred years ago. It gave them rights that women in the west started to enjoy only just over a century ago. It is mostly Muslims who adopt other cultures who might deny a woman her rights under Islam and they are clearly in the wrong. It is these superior rights that attract more non-Muslim women than men to Islam. Here's one western woman talking about it. .

Yes, but so does Christianity. The question should rather be wether or not muslims discriminate women. I'd say that depends on the person. I know more than a few muslims who are pretty normal by my standards
