Chances are it takes a substantial amount of time to fall in love. Some more quickly than others, it will take time to get over love but in my honest opinion you never fall out of "true" love. However you eventually will fall out of love that isn't true and only time can tell. Give it time its the best remedy for heartache.

As you mature, age, whatever, your emotional experiences will be mitigated by your intellectual understanding. Falling out of love is hardest the first time around. Then you grow wiser, and though you may never truly fall out of love, the love experience will transform in your heart and mind. Thus, it will be easier to bear. Ideally, in spite of the pain, it's nicest to arrive at the type of resolve that leaves you with a sense of appreciation and gratitude that you had the experience of loving this person in the first place, and an understanding that even if your paths did not intertwine for all of eternity, it was a special experience to have.
