You're reading If you could afford to have and maintain a 'lap' pool (generates water flow so swimmer is stationary), would you prefer that, or go to the nearest olympic size one for regular laps?

The terminology used in this question is wrong. A lap pool is a narrow, single lane, constant depth pool that is at least 25 M in length. What the question asker is referring to is called one of a few things. An endless pool,infinity pool or a swim spa.
