    I use Ubuntu and Firefox. Never used windows after the windows 98. With Ubuntu I find many problems such as the one you refer to are easily avoided.

    i had trouble with vista once it was asleep, i had trouble starting it baqck up, i had to asign a key for it to start up this solved it for me
