  • OK, so for once I will stop myself from taking this question a completely different direction then it was intended, give you points and say "I don't know of any such term".
  • All I need to know is whether there is such term (and of course the term itself). There is one in Hebrew and I just translated it to English as a "dry blow". I am not an English native speaker, and perhaps as you just confessed there is no such term in use. Hopefully because it isn't practiced in countries where English is spoken... ;))
  • I'm not exactly sure there's a term for it in English although I applaud you trying. Yes, it can happen, since deep bruising may not actually show on the skin, or the contusion might actually show in a different location from the trauma. I think it's just one of those language things. We say in fourteen words what Hebrew has in one or two. It happens. :)
