  • More pushups! Assuming you are a guy, doing guy push ups, either get a small person to sit on your shoulders, legs arond neck, or elevate your feet at an increasingly higher level to add difficulty. Elevation is much easier than finding cooperative little people!
  • Totally, you hurt because you are building new tissue to make up for the gaps created in your muscle tissue when lifting/exercising. The new tissue is what you see as bigger muscle. Keep on adding more reps as you can handle more!
  • more pushups, also try different kinds of pushups, but be sure to work out your back some as well, I have injured myself working on one muscle group much more than the opposing.

  • Push ups to become fit? See earlier answers on T.O.S. If fit includes being tingling, numbness and pain free you may have to rethink.
  • the second one...or instead of doing more, you can increase the weight
  • It's because you're getting stronger... If you want to do crunches, I find that it's really easy on the back if you do them while laying on a trampoline...
