If you can't drink and drive why do you need a driver's license to buy liquor,why do they sell beer in gas stations, and why do bars have parking lots?

Because you actually need a form of ID and a drivers license is one of a few. Although I go to a bar/pub I am not neccesarily going to drink alcohol

Good question. :) Well the driver's license is merely identification, you can get beer with other forms of identification, such as health cards, or anything that has your birth date on it. I guess they have parking lots, most likely out of some city law that says that all public establishments need parking lots... As for gas stations, well it's out of convenience, and people who drive over there to buy it usually take it home and drinks there... But yeah, good points none the less, kinda makes you wonder. >_>

well i quite enjoy driving and drinking but not at the SAME TIME! also, i can go to a bar and park and not drink OR i could drink, crash at a friends, and pick my car up the next day. ppl who work at a bar also need a place to park.

1. You don't need a driver's license. You need ID. 2. They sell beer in qas stations so you can drive home and drink it. 3. The parking lots are for the designated drivers.
