What other species do we actively keep from reproducing? If you mean cats and dogs, then look at it like this. There is no animal that lives on its own that we do this for. Cats and dogs are no longer on their own, we pamper them, give them safety, and feed them. They have much longer lives with us. They do not, as a rule, make their own decisions, other than to stay where we care for them. They also will breed until the female dies from overbreeding. Humans do not, last I heard, tend to do this.

Try telling that to the people of China...

YEEEAHS ! I KNOW!!! I'm serious there should be a cap on how many kids you can have! Seems like the ones most unfit to have them are the ones with the most! Why can't the government offer for some of these welfare gravy train-ers to get their tubes tied and they get a little $300 bonus or something! I'd rather pay $300 in tax bucks to get these people fixed than to have them continue to pump out kid after kid, raising them on welfare and with no real education, work ethis or anything other than an idea that they too willl grow up and pop out a bunch of rugrats and live on welfare. I'm opposed to government regulation but there comes a point like now where the world has over 7 billion people, resources are being used up too fast, there's disease and famine in someparts of the world and I don't think anyone could say that 90% of the worlds problems are directly attributed to overpopulation and over consumption...we need to regulate!
