What did Greensburg look like before the tornado?

Well it is a pretty small town compared to other cities in Kansas. Most of the buildings were in tact and all. But after the tornado most residents were living in trailers. And everything was gone. This past May i believe they finally had the chance to re-build the school. Most students were relocated to other nearby schools to finish off the year.

My aunt's husband's cousins live in Greensburg and owned the furniture store and funeral parlor. Those were located near the big well. There was a short main street lined with buildings like the post office, all brick. There were a few stoplights. Most of the residences were clapboard and brick. It was (is) a typical small midwestern town. Here's a picture of the furniture store.
