My Grandparents bought War Bonds in 1917 where to write to enquire about what happened to them as they are both deceased any idea

    Have you found any of the bonds? It would help if you knew where to start. I know present day bonds can be found if they are lost but you need to know the date they were bought.
    I assume these bonds stopped paying interest years ago. You might inquire at your bank and see if they know where you might start. Banks do sell government EE bonds.
