i guess because many people dont see it as an illicit drug. if u asked me if i did drugs i would say "NO," i just smoke pot. Marijuana doesn't even kill brain cells unlike all other illegal substances. its fat soluble and just sticks to the adipose tissue throughout the body. therefor it only cause short term damage in the since of short term memory loss because thc metabolites adhere to brain cells makin thought processes and motor skills a little slower but no long term damage really except to the lungs depending on how much a person smokes. lung damage doesn't even have to occur if u eat pot brownies and cookies. hell if i got pot butter i will just eat toast. vaporizes also reduce lung damage. Pot is no more than a drug than some strong coffee; its slowly gettin legalized like it should and alcohol need to be frowned upon. i never smoked so much pot i went the wrong way on the interstate killing people if anything i go 5mph under the speed limit.
