  • You can re-format file types by loading them into Windows Media Player, then you should have an option tab on the inside top of the window that states "Format". You can choose from several different file types and try to use .mpeg. You should also go to the Movie Maker website and look up what kind of file-types (aka what format of file) is supported by you're so-called movie maker. This should sufficiently be of help to you.
  • One more thing, did you buy your p.c. pre installed with Vista? The problem with Vista is that you really should have 3 gig's of ram and a 3.0 Ghz processor to run it. Microsoft failed to mention this in order to boost sales. If you have a disc, you also have an XP cd. If I was you, I would install XP Pro. Microsoft boosted the sales of Vista by only offering this O.S. on new pre-installed computer's, unless ofcourse you called Microsoft and ordered it directly through them, then you can tell them that you want your computer for a business and you want XP. There will be no-problems if that is the case. Microsoft is selling all Vista C.D.'s with an XP key, therefore the ratings of Vista are establish incorrectly. Hardly anyone who know's anything about Microsoft uses the Vista Key's. Out of the million's of copies sold, only a few hundred thousand are used, and the rate of reverting to XP SP2 is increasing every day. One more thing, if you decide to get XP Pro SP2, the very first thing you should do is open auto updater and turn off "Automatically Download and Install Updates" That way, you can look at what you are downloading, and block SP3 for-ever. SP3 ties into all microsoft program's and sends microsoft feedback. Computer's with SP3 installed are more apt for application's to quit responding, such as Internet Explorer, and that can prove to be fatal when in the middle of an online transaction. I believe that Microsoft does this on purpose in order for people to upgrade to Vista. Vista was created after the Idea of Windows 7, which has totally re-vamped kernals. Vista was thought up and slapped together as a so called "stepping stone" for Windows 7. I wonder why window's claims that Windows 7 is the 7th Microsoft O.S. when in fact it is the 9th. ?????? These guys are trying to pull a fast one on everybody, and I am not buying it.
