If 2 siblings are brought up the same what makes one turn out ok and the other go off the rails?

I think that even though they are brought up in the same environment,they are still two different individuals,with different personalities.Some people just have difficulties.I don't think it always has to do with the invironment they grew up in.It could be mental differences.But who really knows for sure. :)

I think that it comes down to the choices that they make regarding things like friends and their view of themselves. Every child is unique dispite being raised under the same people, they both have individual personalities.

The thing is no two kids are raised exactly the same way. They have seperate experiences. Even parents don't treat all their children the exact same way simply b/c they are not the exact same people.

A lot of influences come from outside the family environment, such as friends, mentors and coaches and on the other hand a lack of the aforementioned. Two different people need to be looked after in different ways.
