It was easy to let go of the FEELINGS of guilt, but if you're guilty, you cannot let go of the guilt.

No..if you are a parent you never let go of it. It comes with the territory. The guilt you feel about not being a "good enough" child to your parents pales in comparison to the guilt you feel about not being a good enough parent to your child(ren). It is what it is..denying its' existence doesn't make it go away! :)

Yes. When others told me I should be feeling guilty I didn't beleive them. Then I asked my conscience. My conscience said there was nothing to feel guilty about. It was as easy as that.
