Yes, My stepdad fixes watches for a living and he had a watch cleaning machine. However, whenever my rings got dirty I would take them to him and he would clean them in the machine and they'd come out brand new. Also, his cousin owned a jewelry store and with every piece of jewelry he sold he has lifetime warranty where they could come in anytime to get it cleaned or fixed.

I took my Mom's old wedding band in to a Jeweller to have it sized so I could wear. Boy was I surprised, it looked brand new. Yep! they can do it.

Any old peace of jewelry can be left as new by a jeweler, they have special acids to clean and polish them.

If your talking about cleaning. Take a toothbrush and toothpaste. It works wonders!! Diamonds are so shiny after!

Take them to a jeweler and for very little money they will clean them with a sonic washer and maybe polish them if needed. It really brightens them up beautifully. And if your ring had some patina or age darkening and you like that, they can even put that on there as well.

If it has a stone that won't be damaged dip it in some Tarn-X for a few seconds, then take it out and polish it with a soft cloth.
