On my ps1 game(which i play on a ps2 console) whenever i go to load/save it says memory card not inserted. It is a ps2 memory card but when i go into the browser it detects the memory card. Is it not possible to save ps1 games to a ps2 memory card?

  I have a modchip ps2 slim. I transferred my memory card data on my pc. Now when i trransfer it back, the game doesn't accept it.
