  • for sure, i believe that over the years people have become more open-minded, thinking outside the box if you will, also in most cases a long time ago you were persecuted for thinking differently (though still in some countries).
  • I think it has. And I think it's certain to continue. As humans, we love answers. We'd rather have a poor theory than none at all. And religion has always been a vehicle to explain- who we are, where we came from, and what our purpose is. Centuries ago, rejecting religion would have meant rejecting many explanations about the world for which we, at the time, had no better alternatives. As science advances, it is providing contradictory but verifiable answers to many of the questions religion attempted to answer. Religion is losing its foothold. It is no longer the best explanation for many of the phenomena for which it once was. I think this allows many people to comfortably put religion aside.
