For some people yes. Relax though, there is always hair color.
-
It is not common, but sometimes this happens. Don't worry. If you are really concerned about it a doctor might be able to help.
-
It does happen . My husband was 16 and people thought he had his hair streaked, it was completly and beautifully silver by the time he was 26
-
If I were you I would consult with you physician. Some medical conditions may cause this. Also genetics can play a part, but wouldnt hurt to have it checked out. Good Luck
-
It does happen my aunt starten when she was 17. Note: How old are you really? In your questions you claim to be 33, 18 and 13 ...hm I can really make this work in my head since the questions are on the same day, do you mind telling how old you really are?
-
yep, hair can turn white at any age. several of my friends hair did the same thing. it usually is genetic.
-
Hang on a second, in your next question you ask you are 33 and still haven't shaved. Go figure, stop lying.
-
If I were you, I wouldn't be so worried about it turning white, I'll be worried if I had alopecia. Chances are you can start dyeing your hair and not wearing a wig.

I assume this bothers dearly well, you may have to do some history search. Your great-great Grand Father could have been one of the most hansome in his era dressed to impress and his long whitish hair flowing down his back, and as the sun passes through it you can see the light rays settling in your face like angels appearing from the sky. it is a sign of wisdom, knowledge and power. A person mention earlier it could be in the family genes.(genetics). Example a friend of mine father has beautiful while hair, she was in her 20's when her hair started to turn completely white strain by strain of hair. She is beautiful, she high lights her hair to compliment her attair, there is nothing better than knowing that you are different and loving it. My younger brother have silk looking jet black hair, he is the only one of the sibling that has that grade, genetically my grand mother's hair on our father's side was just as his. There you go. I hope that this gives you a better out look on yourself.

hi there, i am a hairdresser and i have to say that you are loosing your pigment in your hair, and it is very unusual for someone of your age to loosed pigment. it usually happens at a later age! have you been taking any medication recently of have you been ill? i would not say that it is serve but i would go and visit your doctor see if they can help you. and yes colour can cover it, but it does not take away the problem. hope this helps!

For you it is.

I started going grey when I was 17. It runs in my family. My aunt on my Dad's side had totally grey hair by the time she was 30, and several other members of my family went prematurely grey. I wouldn't worry too much about it. If it does bother you, try coloring it.

I started having white hair at the age of 11!! Young i know, I dye my hair though so it's kool. So Yeah I guess it is normal for some people, well it is for me anyway.

Do not worry, My husbands hair started to streak when he was sixteen. by 26 he was silver and had the most beautiful head of hair. Everuone remembered him and commented apon his hair. He was an incredibly attractive man It is very distinguishing and if you really hate it there are always hair colours but make sure it is a natural looking colour for you. Do not worry it looks lovely streaky hair SORRY SECOND ANSWER DID NOT REALISE I HAD ANSWERED THIS QUESTION WEEKS AGO, at least the answer is the same

It could be genetic. I noticed a few white hairs when I was 20 and the same thing is happening now to my offspring. My maternal grandfather was completely white headed by the time he was 30 and my father started to get white hair at 25. My mother at 40 was more than 60% white haired and if I didn't color I'm sure that my hair would be the same.

I started going grey at about 16. I am now 36 and almost completely grey. I've heard it's hereditary but I have more grey hair than my parents combined.

I am 23 and currently have a few silver hairs, but not enough for most people to notice. I, myself, noticed that my hair was losing it's pigment my junior or senior year of high school. I freaked out at first, but when asked what other people thought about it, they felt it was attractive and it gave me more character. I've also asked around to see if anyone else my age was losing their hair color, and to my surprise most of them were. But they too didn't have enough to be clearly visible unless you were up close. So I guess it's normal for people at a young age to start losing their hair color, but probably not normal for them to have a full head of silver hear, especially at 18.

Hi I am a 26 year old guy who has noticed over the past months since I had my hair cut shorter, streakes of white hair. I am proud of my light blonde hair and I got depressed for a while that my hair in places was turning white. I now have to accept that my hair might be visibly white and streaky in places by the the age of 30. I think it is a pigment thing. Also in some people it could be due to weakened adrenal glands. I had a viral infection a year ago and I think this weakened my adrenals. Poor Marie Antoinette went completely white over night while waiting for her execution. So stress and nerves may play a part. Don't worry. My philosophy is that if people don't accept you for who you are it is their problem. If your a fun kind individual then the right people will be attracted to you.

I am 23 years old and recently have started taking prozac. I am starting to get gray hair, including my eye lashes. Are you taking any type of medication? You should visit the doctor and make sure it isn't something seroius
