  • Imagine they are degrees Celsius - perfect temperature.
  • dress in layers, the more you run the warmer you will get and you may need to remove a layer or two.
  • I would suggest wearing a scarf or something around your mouth to keep the air from freezing your lungs/throat. The colder it gets the more important this is. 30 degrees isn't that bad for running once you get going. I would warm up inside before you start.

  • Somebody already answered well, dress in layers. The hardest to keep warm is your hands, have good gloves. I have a heavy set of under armor, and it keeps me warm down to about 30 degrees. Colder than that and have to have another layer on top of it. I have a pair of biking pants, like tights only they have wind blocking capability for the front, again, very nice. Just layer up. NOTE, you should be a bit cold when you leave the house. If you are nice and warm when you start your run, you'll get too hot later.
