Well, if the door was open, I'd say definitely yes. However, I don't remember the exact description of the statues' powers. And despite all of the TARDIS' protections, it's possible that some alien power would be able to defeat the TARDIS shield. We'll never know since they stopped, all looking at each other, right? :)
