Im a canadian citizen in maryland married to a us citizen, i just took my fingerprints just a month ago, now my question is can i leave the USA and comeback, only going there for the holidays, Is this allowed? And whats the next step after the biometrics?

Yes, you legally can leave but no, it probably isn't a good idea. As you haven't received your "status" yet, you can be denied re-entry until that conditional greencard is approved. UNLESS you have a valid longterm visa of another type. After biometrics and background check is done AND you have passed, you will have an interview. -
