How can the governments believe injecting cash into the economy is good ?

They have no choice. In a severe recession like this one, the U.S. government is printing paper money in an attempt to prevent deflation and a depression. Whether it will cause inflation or be good policy in the long run is anyone's guess. Their goal right know to prevent the collapse of our financial system.

well, if the capital is not injected to banks it's catastrophe. The government nor any sane people would need that as I believe. That's why they keep pumping capital to banks in order to keep financial system afloat.
