Hmm...I have no idea. But I had an abscess in a tooth once, and I can tell you that the effects transcends the tooth, such as the surrounding nerves all the way down to your shoulder, eyeball and it inflicts great headaches, and I even got a fever out of it and was taken to the hospital. Well, maybe it can cause infections, all that puss will travel around, although as for me, brain damage was present long before that. XD
