Are female cats more lovable than male cats. before i buy a cat i'd like to know?

mmm i have a male cat and he is very lovable... well even though he bites (thats his way of giving kisses) lol. but he wants constant attention. so i think it depends on the cat and their personality.

I think it very much depends on the cat. I have had a male cat who was the biggest cuddle bug in the whole world and I have had a female cat who was just a pain .. a rebel and wanted nothing to do with us.. almost .. exept for food and her litter box cleaned ..lol so it really is just about the individual cats personallity.. it varies just like humans ..

I've had a boy (who wasn't much into cuddles), and my partner has had a girl (who was very lovable and cuddly). Now we have one of each & they are the opposite, the boy loves cuddles, and the girl just likes to get a pat, but not a cuddle or lap time. Different cats like different things.

We have one female and 3 males. They each have very distinct personalities and are lovable in their own ways. The female is actually the only one that will spend hours sleeping on our chests. The three males comes for quick cuddles more frequently. I really think it depends on the cat. Of course if you get the cat as a kitten and spend lots of time playing with it and handling it, my experience has been that you will have a more loving cat.

in my experience, males have been the sweetest. they're just big dumb sweeties. i mean that in a nice, loving way. i love my huge black maddox.

OKay, if i am not to late to answer you with this question, it depends where u get the cat and all. I had a female that i loved but she was very old and had things wrong with her, so we had to put her to sleep, but she was liek 24, about. But she always slept, i mean she slept with me at night, but mainly slept a lot. My male cat, omg! he is such liek a dog, playful, always hingry and all, so this cat (my male cat) is more playful then my female, but they are both someone to tell your feeligns out when you cry or aren;t feeling well, usually they no and come over to you.

my males have always been more "lovey dovey" than the females. the females don't want to be held, don't often come to me and certainly don't sleep with me please don't "buy" a cat. there are many great adoptable cats at the shelters than can be had for a reasonable "donation"
