People usually say "I was just mad, I didn't mean what I said" - I think, when people are mad, they usually say *exactly* what they meant to say...What do you think?

The might mean what they say...they just don't mean to say it all at that moment.

I think you are correct. We feel sorry later because we said something we meant but didn't want that person to hear.

It depends on the situation. There are times when people do say what they mean when they are angry, but there are also times when people do not mean what they say when they are angry.
