I am a caregiver for several elderly family members....looking for activities for member's with dementia/arthritis. one was a avid knitter, one a non-knitter. does anyone know anything about the knitting machines? i don't want one too juvenile.

Are you are thinking of a knitting machine for the elderly people you speak of? I am well aquainted with knitting machines, in my opinion, the 'adult [more advanced] type' would be much too complicated for someone like this. It is quite a process just to learn to use one of these type of machines. What I know of the more 'juvenile' types is that they are fun to use for all ages so don't write them off. Hope this helps.
