I don't like dating sites or bars, and none of my friends have any single friends that I am interested in. How can I meet women of the opposite sex for possible dating?

Start going to classes and stuff. Just widen your social circle, and that's a great start. Perhaps start going the gym, maybe get in some fitness classes, and also don't rule out work colleagues. Another good thing, is when you're out and about, say you're shopping, on the train, or anything like that, just try striking up conversations. There doesn't have to be anything out about it, it's totally polite and perfectly friendly. This is a great way of meeting people. It means you can meet random people all the time, and usually, depending on how the conversation goes, you could end up with a date that night. It's down to you to decode the signals, and decide whether or not to make a move from that. Good luck.
