A buddy I used to hang out with a lot had one. He's a big comic book fan. It's really pretty funny how they constantly had the turtles standing facing the "camera" with their tales between their legs. Hmmm. I wonder if it was intentionally phallic?

No but I used to love the TMNT pie that hostess cakes made during the whole hype.

Yes, I had the first 6 issues. they were oversized (like MAD magazine) and printied on a cheaper paper than regular comics that that time. Story plats were a spoof of Daredevil and other comics.

Yes. I knew the first time I read a comic that the turtles would be a success. There was another comic about that time that has since lapsed into obscurity. It was called: "Adolescent, Radioactive, Blackbelt Hampsters".
