China will be the next world financial power.Oil,gold and other things might be traded in another currency instead of the US dollar for if the dollar declines both gold and oil will decline as well,and it would need to be propped up by a more stable currency.What currency it will be I do not know.World economy will decline for a few years and then normalize.

Many people will die of starvation having no ability or knowledge of the old ways. Most of those will be city dwellers because they have forgotten all about foraging, hunting and farming. Rural people will have a better chance at survival because the info has been passed down more regularly. A new govornment would probably take over.

Financial chaos. Oil, commodities, global banking, international trade, etc. revolves around the dollar. China, Great Britain, France, India, Japan and a lot of other countries supports the dollar. Ain't gonna happen.
