I took this picture a few weeks ago. The young man is my 20 year old son Steven and the little girl is Megan. Megan has leukemia and my son is a cancer survivor. I love them with all my heart. December is that month when people tend to be a little more loving and every year i pray that more people will discover that the spirit of love should be expressed year around not just in December.

I don't always like snow, but it is very pretty at Christmas!
-
I made it sixy...I'll go for the cute factor!!!
-
Aside from the religious undertones, which I do take seriously, I'm going with golf and a nice tree.

It's like, my darkest secret, nobody would ever have thought it, but ever since I was little I always enjoyed Christmas oriented angel pictures. But of course the stupid Answerbag bs picture uploader doesn't want to work so, http://homepage.mac.com/cushy1/Angels/angel.jpg

For me December and the Christmas season is very much a family affair. I always look forward to getting together with my family: my parents, brothers, grandma, cousins, etc. visiting them and having a big dinner and the exchanging of gifts. So I guess my picture will represent the family aspect of it:
-
sure.. i would love to but for some reason my pics wont load :( hold on.. ok December is the month of my birthday, and of course Xmas..so heres a pic of my tree last year, also of course the toys the kids get and family being together - the last picture is the last picture of my mother and daughter taken on Xmas Day last year.. my mother died 12 days later.. so of course from now on December always makes me think of my mother, and i hope God is taking good care of her :)

I will describe it to you..had a picture somewhere but don't know where it is. Even if I did, don't know how to post it. Years ago we lived in Massachusetts..second floor apartment..across the road from the woods...here is what December means to me..looking out our window through the icicles that had formed in the night from the overhang..across the street to the snow-laden trees in the woods! :) ((hugs))
-
Ok, so I went hunting around and came up with two images .. a vintage St Nick .. and some snowflakes. If you're running out of room, go with the snowflakes. They are a constant source of wonder for me. Every single one of them absolutely UNIQUE .. crystal patterns of the universe .. exactly as we human beings are "one" .. but each profoundly unique at the same time. Ok .. wish me luck now .. going to try to upload both images. (And happy "december" to all !!!) :)

Well, we don't have much of a winter here in Florida... but we do have a LOT of shopping malls. Here's a good idea of what December looks like here:

If I can find a shot of our flowering pohutakawa tree, and learn how to post it on here, I'll get it to you, its a little bit of beautiful nature, that shines for us at Christmas time here in Northern NZ !!
-
we are blessed to have this glorious tree flower right at Christmas time, or in December in New Zealand, its highly regarded by the indigenous people of NZ, and adored by all people of NZ. If it flowers early and bright, we are in for a long hot summer, as legend has it.........
-
some more summer shots that we love in NZ, the first one is a pic of MAtarangi beach, on the coromandel coast, we were just there for the weeeknd, its so peaceful, and beautiful :) the 2nd is an example of the magnificent pohotawaka trees..........
