Don't you mean "when" rather than "if"? When the atheist inquisition occurs, it will make the previous inquisitions look like Sunday picnics. Try to imagine something between concentration camps and the gulag. Free speech would be verboten and if you're worried about global warming now, wait until the book burnings begin.

Inquistions and banning certain information is a religious specialty. Atheists tend to be free thinkers who aren't afraid of information so I can't imagine them banning anything. . Besides, we'd need something to laugh at, no? . +5

I don't think anything new would be outlawed, but some criminals would be prosecuted who previously could cloak their actions behind their religion.
