I will be leaving AB soon. Here is the **QUESTION** : Can I have some some *serious* suggestions as to what I can do with my time and my mind to substitute for AB??

Why even leave? One that leaves with bright answers to many questions is greedy them selfs. You can come from time to time, those who enjoy and appreciate your answers and questions will forever thank you even when you are not present. Please stay

You're leaving AB???! Oh no! Do what is best for you, but just know that you will be sorely missed here. As for the substitute for AB...have you ever done anything with your family's geneology? I hear that's time-consuming and mind-occupying...

Leaving? No! Sorry to hear that. You have certainly been a great addition to AB. Make a list of things you have always wanted to do and have never gotten around to doing and then work your way through that list. I know, oversimplified, but since there isn't a right or wrong answer here. . . . Care to say why you're leaving? If not, that's cool I'm just curious.

Crosswords and number puzzles? Write short stories (doesn't matter if they are good, it might be fun and mentally stimulating)? Read on up something that had always fascinated you but you don't really know that much about... then you can come back and wow us with new-found knowledge. Draw little comic strips (who cares if you can draw or not, stickmen make good comic characters too!)? Hope some of those appeal in some way.

Well... reading is good. You can take online classes. You can work as a tutor, and help out students in whatever subject you know best. Either for a profit (yay extra money) or for free (yay feeling good for helping people out). You can volunteer. Find a local place that needs a bit of help that you can provide. Play with the kitties at the local animal shelter, drive and deliver for meals on wheels... whatever interests you (and whatever you are capable of). Sorry to see you go PG, but have a great life!

How about starting your own AB-esque site? Now, I'm trying to anger the AB gods, but why not? You certainly have enough knowledge and wisdom to spread around, even if it's not here.

I am so sorry to hear this. You had much to share and alot of great knowledge on many topics in my opinion. I hope alot more higher level intelligent people don't follow your example and leave but i respect your decision to do that. I wish you luck and peace in whatever you chose to do PG. I will miss you as many others will also I am sure.
