On an architects plan for a house, scale reads 1.2 inches = 5ft. How long is the actual length of a room thats 2 inches long on a drawing?

    5 divided by 1.2 equals 4.1667 so for every inch drawn it equals 4.1667 feet. Times that by two. 2 inches = 8.333 feet :)
