No, but it makes them feel like they've won.
-
Nope. In fact they've generally lost.
-
No, the battle may be over but the war has just begun.
-
not necessarily but they think they have
-
i dont believe so, but quite often those people do ha!
-
Nope, otherwise they wouldn't need judges at debate meets.
-
No, they could say something that makes them look a complete ass . Then there is no reason for a reply.
-
Absolutely not
-
No, but they have proven they can flap their mouth faster than you. An argument gets pretty funny when someone starts talking like a person with a jaw that can't stop flapping.
-
No, in fact I often see that the person that keeps on talking is the biggest loser, especially if they feel like they've taken the last barb. They just don't understand when their 'target' has left the building LOL!!!
-
No, particuarly, if the other person pulls a baseball bat or a loaded gun
-
Right and wrong is not decided by the last word, the loudest words, the biggest gun, ect, ect; nor even convincing another of your viewpoint. An arguement is over when at least one {if two is involved} ceases to continue - which does not mean a thing has been resolved.
-
Not if the last word is Im Wrong and Im sorry
-
i don't believe so, sometimes not saying anything is better than being the last to say something in an argument.
-
Nope
-
nope means they got there satisfaction, it takes a bigger person to not retaliate
-
No, they only spoke last. That's it. And if the interest is in "winning" an "argument", then there's already a problem!! :)
-
Only if there isn't another round in the future.
-
No. They're just digging their grave deeper.
-
I don't think so, actually I believe it's the other way around in most cases.
-
No they don't win but they think they do!
-
no having the last word just makes someone feel good about themselves but that doesn't mean that they won the argument.
-
No. The other person was smart enough to stop before the situation gets too heated and out of control.
-
No, many times the last word is a loss for the one who spoke it.
-
That is definetly true... especially when you send them one of these: http://www.igotthelastword.com You can never lose especially if they dont know who sent it.
